Colonel Jefferson

Welder

Colonel is married with seven children. He enjoys watching all types of sports, and he especially loves watching the South Carolina Gamecocks play football. Colonel played baseball at the University of South Carolina for four years. He was then drafted by the Richmond Braves, where he played for six years, before a knee injury ended his baseball career.

After baseball, Colonel has worked exclusively at Carolina Bridge, where he's been part of the team for over 42 years. He has worked with three generations of the Nickel family. He started as a welder’s helper, before earning a new classification as a welder. When Colonel is not on a job site welding, he is working around the shop. Colonel truly enjoys his job, and he loves to weld. Thanks, Colonel, for your dedication to the Carolina Bridge family.
