Roscoe is married with one child, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He enjoys horses, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He is also very active in his church.
Roscoe started his career working as a carpenter and tying rebar, which he did for ten years. During this time, he tied rebar for bridge decks, walls in power plants, and paper mills. He spent the next decade of his career working for bridge crews, eventually working his way up to being a foreman.
Roscoe has now been a foreman at Carolina Bridge for ten years and counting. He works on every phase of bridge construction, from driving pile to pouring decks. He enjoys teaching and sharing what he knows with anybody that is willing to listen and work hard.
