This project was the complete rehab of an existing 360' truss bridge over Glendale Falls at Glendale Shoals County Park. The existing truss was built in 1928 and had been closed since 1977. We replaced all load-carrying rivets and the main truss members, rebuilt the bearings, installed a new timber deck, and painted the truss. This work completely restored the truss, bringing it to today's design standards. It is now a pedestrian bridge for the Glendale Shoals park.
